Fiscal Policy and Taxes

Colorado State spending is out of control and is negatively impacting the quality of life for all Coloradans, but it is having a devastating impact on the quality of life of the poor and minority communities. The Lopez Administration will find a balance between tax rates and public spending.  All of Colorado’s hard-working men and women, middle-class families know that “fees” are just another name for taxes.

I am going to focus on eliminating or reducing all fees being paid by Colorado residents and I will preserve the Taxpayers Bill of Rights (TABOR).  The people of Colorado deserve a Governor that will not sidestep their wishes as outlined in the Taxpayers Bill of Rights by establishing enterprises and authorities.

The inflation that every Colorado household is experiencing is being deliberately ignored by the Governor as he is a strong supporter of President Biden, the most incompetent President in American history.  They are both responsible for the high inflation Colorado families are experiencing. The more they increase the amount of money in the economy by giving out “free money” will eventually result in a decrease in the value of money—meaning that it would take more money to buy something that has not changed in value.
