How does the Colorado caucus work?

To be eligible to vote and run for delegate to represent your neighborhood precinct for your county and state ballot, you must be a registered republican by Monday, February 7th.

To become a delegate, you must attend your neighborhood precinct caucus on Tuesday night, 7pm March 1st, there you must submit your name to be a delegate and be elected by your other precinct attendees. ONLY registered Republicans can participate in GOP precinct caucus to run and/vote to become a delegate.

The Colorado Secretary of State’s page is where you can check your registration status, verify that you are registered as a Republican and if your registration is active. If you are NOT registered as a Republican, you must change your party affiliation to R and you can do that under the Change Party Affiliation tab. If NOT registered at all, you can register there too.

At SoS site you will find out which precinct you are in (last 3 numbers of your registration ID). Then at your county GOP website you will be able to find where your precinct caucus will be meeting on Tuesday, March 1st at 7p. Come early at 6:30 and bring your family and friends of registered republicans (18 and over) nominate and vote for each other to become delegates and alternates for your precinct and change your county and state!

Tell all your like-minded friends and neighbors to come to their neighborhood caucus meeting in March 1st, ask them to run for delegate and vote for each other. Run for state delegate and alternate and attend state assembly on Saturday, April 9th to vote for Greg Lopez for Governor.

Attend your county assembly on Saturday, March 19th and State Assembly on Saturday, April 9th  at the World Arena, located at 3185 Venetucci Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
